This article from WSJ tells the story about the President of the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas and how he has pleaded guilty to violating the anti-money-laundering rules. Scott Sibella, the ex-Cosmo-president, treated a known bookie as a high-roller and accepted a $120,000 cash payment to pay off gambling debts without marking it as a suspicious transaction - even though Sibella knew the bookie ran an illegal betting operation.
