This WSJ article explains the process (and stress) behind being a trader for a sportsbook - in particular, FanDuel. These traders work similarly to the stock brokers on Wall Street trying to make sure each game and live opportunity is priced correctly. It’s a really fascinating read.

Here’s a great thread by @robpizzola on this week’s Gambling Twitter hot item. @SalVetriDFS is a bettor/DFS player and told his followers + thousands of Patreon subscribers, that betting player incentives in Week 18 is a +EV move and provided examples of bets he would make - without giving the actual lines or odds. Rob does an excellent job explaining the flaw, not only behind Sal’s thinking, but in the majority of sports betting content today.
On the topic of @SalVetriDFS and everyone who ran to his defense in my mentions yesterday, here's a Sal-style thread on why this Week 18 incentive stuff is, in its current form, useless.
