"The Pioneer of Online Gambling"

This article from written by Michael LaPointe tells a fascinating story of a stockbroker-turned-oddsmaker, Steve Schillinger. Back in the mid-90's, Schillinger and two friends decided to start an online sportsbook and they were the first to offer some of the futures that you see today. From MVP futures, to winning NFL divisions, to even if OJ Simpson would be convicted or not - Schillinger and his team were the first to bring novelty futures to their clients. LaPointe does a great job of telling the rise and fall of Schillinger's online empire.

This clip from last week's Circles Off podcast is one of my favorite pieces of content to come out of the betting space in a while. In this one-minute and 30 second clip, Rob does great job explaining what a recreational bettor wants vs. what a sharp bettor wants and why it's important that content creators are portrayed in an accurate way.

The clip can be found here.

@BradPowers7 getting myself and all college football fans excited with this tweet. FanDuel released their Game of the Year lines for the 2023 College Football Season. Brad is a great follow and one of the sharpest college football minds out there. Any time he takes a side on a game, it's worth noting.
